On the Road
Since coming back from Stockholm it’s been non-stop travel, travel, travel for work. I have had barely enough time to take a breath let alone update my “what’s new” column. I will mention some highlights which include:
- Going to the NYC Gift Show – It was as always good to see what is new but not much to report regarding trends most exciting were living with and crafting from books, the color grey paired with jeweled tones, modern dollhouses, and industrial salvaged furniture & accessories.
- Working with Matthew Mead in New Hampshire on a couple of seasonal 2011 projects for Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
- A visit to Des Moines from photographer Marshall Johnson who I worked with in Seattle on a December 2010 feature with Rosanna Bowles for Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
- Working for Target Corp in Minneapolis with photographer Lauren Krysti and getting to spend time with friends in one of my favorite cities.
- Working with photographer David A. Land, in NYC with Marcus Hay, stylist, to create a fashion feature featuring one of my favorite bloggers, Heather Armstrong, creator of Dooce.
Whew! That’s not including local shoots. But happy to be working with talented and creative people and doing what I love.
